Job Description:

Sonian is looking for a highly motivated, energetic and resourceful office manager to help run day to day operations.  This is a unique and exciting opportunity for the right candidate to make their mark at a high-growth technology start-up.  Reporting to the VP of finance, the right candidate for this position will have the right mix of enthusiasm, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize all travel arrangements including flight, car, and related travel plans
  • Manage all company purchasing including office/kitchen supplies, laptops and desk setups for new employees, printers and other hardware, etc.
  • Assist with accounting and HR tasks and paperwork as needed
  • Assist with the process of moving offices, including soliciting bids for furniture, researching and negotiating contracts with ISP’s and telecom vendors, etc.
  • Coordinate office meetings, events, and parties
  • Assist the marketing and sales team with various tasks including clerical work, assisting with campaigns, printing collateral, etc.
  • Support company executives and other employees in a variety of areas as necessary

Qualifications:

  • 0-3 years experience in a business environment
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable operating independently inside a fast moving startup environment
  • Ability to multi-task through excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Candidates in the Greater Boston area only
